The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a global service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. Commissioned primarily by the German Federal Government, GIZ supports partners in over 120 countries to drive effective, inclusive, and forward-looking development. Its work spans sectors such as education, climate and energy, economic development, and good governance, with a strong emphasis on capacity building, innovation, and gender equality. In Pakistan, GIZ collaborates closely with national and provincial institutions to promote vocational training, green energy, and social protection. Through jointly implemented programmes, the partnership focuses on inclusive economic growth, employment generation, and climate resilience—ensuring locally adapted solutions that address key development challenges.
