TVET Sector Support Programme partners raise awareness on Anti-Sexual Harassment for its trainees

The competency-based-training projects supported by TVET Sector Support Programme are designed not only to transfer technical knowledge of occupations but it also encourages its partner institutes to significantly focuses on awareness of trainees about their rights at their workplaces.

Our partner institute The Hunar Foundation (THF) organized a workshop to raise awareness on Anti-Sexual Harassment for trainees enrolled in ‘Call Centre Agent’ programme, in collaboration with ThinkMatic (a physical therapy clinic).

Starting the session with an icebreaking activity, the speakers later interacted with participants giving insight of the possible harassment scenario they may face during their job and routine life and their possible to overcome any unwanted situation.

The workshop was organized for awareness of women rights and to educate the trainees about the possible solutions to avoid and handle the sexual harassment issues they may face during their job tenure. The training project at The Hunar Foundation is being supported by TVET Sector Support Programme, which is funded by the European Union, Government of Germany, and Norway.
