KP TEVTA makes ties with Private Sector

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (KP TEVTA) signs two Memorandums of Understanding (MoU’s) with Renewable and Alternate Energy Association of Pakistan (REAP) and All Pakistan Marble Industries Association of Pakistan (APMIAP) through their representatives in KP on December 19, 2017, at Peshawar.
The purpose of these MoU’s is to improve planning and implementation of the technical and vocational training programs as well as training delivery by involving relevant business industries. Such understandings and ties with the private sector will further enhance the chances of employability of TVET graduates in KP and FATA.
Similarly, another MoU was signed between KP TEVTA Aashiana Hotel to promote skilled workforce in the field of hospitality and tourism at Govt. Vocational training institute Khaki Mansehra on December 24, 2017.
These MoUs and signing ceremonies were supported by TVET Sector Support Program, which is funded by the European Union, the Federal Republic of Germany and the Royal Norwegian Embassy, implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in close collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) as well as provincial Technical Education and Vocational Training Authorities (TEVTAs) and private sector organizations.
Through these efforts, KP-TEVTA will facilitate and create an environment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for imparting quality technical and vocational training which is relevant to market demand.
