KP‑TEVTA (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority) is the provincial body responsible for delivering technical and vocational education across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and newly merged districts. Established through legislation in 2015 (building on state directorates formed in 2002), KP‑TEVTA oversees a network of polytechnics, vocational centres, and apprenticeship schemes to equip youth with market‑aligned skills in engineering, trades, IT, agriculture, and more. Its mission is to foster employability, drive socioeconomic growth, and offer equitable access to quality training that meets both domestic and global workforce demands
